Third-Person POV: Silas had been trying to contact Jennifer all this time. Even though Jennifer knew how much he wanted to see Roxanne, Jennifer still refused to let him. But she never expected Silas to contact her via the police. Jennifer couldn't be that cruel to Silas on account of her decade-long friendship with Roxanne. Besides, Jennifer was genuinely concerned that Silas' situation might spiral out of control catastrophically. Upon seeing that things weren't as serious as she thought, Jennifer turned to leave.
