Jessica sat on a bench in the courtyard. She bent to slip off her heels and massaged her sore ankles. The pearl strap of her dress slid from her shoulder down to her arm. But before she could pull it back up, a warm, slender finger hooked the strap and guided it gently back into place. Jessica flinched and instinctively covered her chest. When she looked up, she found a tall, lean man standing before her. He was dressed entirely in black, his figure blending into the night. Her gaze traveled from his strong, solid thighs up to his face. His lips curled into a faint smile as he took off his coat and draped it over her before settling down beside her. "What are you doing here?" she asked. "I was afraid you'd get drunk and climb into the wrong car." Zachary brushed her hair behind her shoulder. Jessica pulled the coat tighter around herself. It was still warm from his body heat. Her cheeks heated up, and a small smile tugged at her lips. Joshua had been right. All it took was one c
