When everything was over, everyone went their separate ways. Mathilda's parents left with Zachary's, while Mathilda ended up on her own. Ginger asked Zachary to drop her off on his way home. Mathilda politely declined, but Zachary agreed. Mathilda shifted awkwardly, as she didn't want to be the third wheel. "Hop in," Zachary ordered with one hand on the steering wheel. Jessica, who was in the passenger seat, poked her head out the window and said, "It's hard to hail a cab here. Come on, we'll take you home!" All jokes aside, Mathilda was clearly keeping her distance, and Jessica could tell. Mathilda had worked with Zachary for years. If anything was ever going to happen between them, it would've happened ages ago. Besides, they were married now.
