I could still feel his heavy gaze on me as I tried to occupy myself with something other than him. I even tried to focus on the little ants wandering about on the floor near the wall, and yet their dark shade of color only reminded me of his eyes. What a comparison, I know.
I felt him step closer, and my body tensed in response. Why in the world did this kid have this effect on me? It was just too....unnatural.
"Rochelle, right?"
My head snapped up at the sound of his voice. He had a warm smile on his full lips and I couldn't help but wonder what it felt like to kiss them. Dammit Rochelle, snap out of it!
I nodded my head slightly before answering, in a rather shaky voice that was just plain embarrassing, "Yes?"
His smile broadened as he took a step towards me. "We have AP English together, right?"
