I let out a soft sigh, staring down at the same spot my wound was supposed to be but on him instead. He was right, all that was left were faded out scars that were the same length as my own. I knew that they would disappear completely within a matter of days, if not less, but mine might last a longer period of time than that. I had to admit, I would really give anything to heal myself as quickly as a werewolf can at this very moment. The pain wasn't anything I couldn't handle, but I hated seeing my mate this way. It wasn't his fault and yet he wouldn't listen. So all I could do was just sit there, trying hard not to let out a cry of pain as the cool night air stung my skin, causing my wound to burn uncomfortably.
