My eyes widened in pure shock as I took in his words. My heart thumped loudly inside my chest and I didn't even care if he could hear it. Something stirred inside of me, something that told me that every single word that was spoken was nothing but the truth. He loved me. Marcus Black actually loved me. The only guy who has ever made me breathless and giddy inside loved me. And the scary part of all of this was, I actually believed him. I actually believed that what he said was true and the look in his eyes clarified this fact.
