Aaron’s POV Honestly, it’s a little pathetic the way everyone is so supportive of me and Mae killing John and Emma. There are a few in the elite social circles keeping quiet instead of coming out in support of us, but it’s better than them blasting us on the internet. And, unfortunately, I am highly aware that I have my father to thank for their silence. The little coward was so quick to speak up in my defense, completely throwing his previous partners in crime under the bus. But the influence of Maximus Kensington goes far, and it’s keeping the country from turning on me and Mae for killing two werewolves who had been held in such high esteem. I am also very much aware that it would have gone very differently if it had only been Mae, an Omega, who was responsible.
