Swallowing hard, I ripped the shirt where the wound was. There were a few gasps – including mine – when we saw the deep cut on Abigail’s flat stomach. Blood was gushing out of it. The wound was turning black from the wolfs bane. I tried to calm down as much as possible before I proceeded. I really didn’t want to mess up. Instead of thinking about what was going on, I closed my eyes and thought of a positive outcome. I thought of Abigail healthy and glowing, smiling and laughing.
