“Yeah, right after you fainted and the cops came over to inspect that window. It is about midnight by now.” At the mention of my window, I shuddered. I looked at my mom with fear clear in my eyes. She patted my leg, telling me that everything is going to be alright. However, I knew it wasn’t. Things were getting worst.
