“What’s wrong?” Galam asked, dark eyebrows knitting together in confusion. He brought his hand up to wipe my tears, but I quickly pushed him off. I got up and started walking away from him. He stayed on the ground, trying to process what is happening. “What happened?” “Um, Hayley is at the front door. Don’t forget you have a date today,” I turned around to face him. He flinched when he saw my flushed face, tears falling freely. In that moment, I didn’t care. His face flashed with irritation. When he was about to say something, I stopped him. “Forget what happened, okay? It was a mistake.” I ran into the house and up the stairs, ignoring Galam’s calls.  “So, nothing went wrong with you and Galam?” Beau asked for the thousandth time.
