Chapter 43: Dirty Little Secret

Kai’s P.O.V I rolled off of Night’s body, his skin sleek with perspiration. The tiny bed didn’t provide enough space for either of us to rest properly, and it was a bit frustrating, but the warmth of Night’s skin was still a pleasant respite from the cold bed next to mine. My breathing evened out slowly, just as Night’s hand wrapped around my torso, pulling me closer to his body so that he could lay his head on my shoulder.
