When Cassandra had mentioned tending the yard, Gregory had assumed she just meant pulling a few weeds. After all, she'd planted those tulips with her own hands when they married, just for him! His expression was dark and unreadable as he said nothing. Cassandra stepped forward, groped for his sleeve, and feigned a pitiful tone as he asked, "Are you mad, Greg?"
