The next day, Cassandra spotted Serena bustling about the kitchen as she headed downstairs.
"Serena," she greeted as she approached her.
"You're up, Mrs. Hart," Serena responded politely.
She didn't bother looking at Cassandra, still believing she was blind. She was carrying the premium supplements that had just been delivered that day.
Cassandra crossed her arms and leaned against the doorframe. Her smile didn't reach her eyes as she remarked, "Those look like good-quality supplements."
Serena froze. She turned to see Cassandra without her sunglasses. Her eyes, once lifeless and hazy, now gleamed with clarity. Cassandra was staring directly at her.
Serena's face turned pale as she forced a smile. "Mrs. Hart, your eyes…"
"I visited a prestigious doctor yesterday. My eyes have improved greatly after taking the medicine he prescribed."
