Chapter 1789
"You!" Timothy's face darkened when he heard this, but he knew they were correct.
After all, they were just spitting facts—by being arrogant and disrespectful, he cost himself a valuable opportunity!
"Let's not deal with that idiot any longer! Since President Wolf has already stated that he will consider reopening the sole proprietorship in the future, let's go home and prepare for this so that we can have another chance!"
"I concur. Let's get started!"
Before leaving, the men all cast final scornful glances at Timothy.
Timothy and Julianna were soon the only people left.
"Rats!" As he watched his peers leave, Timothy's heart sank. He knew that if Cynthion Group wanted to expand their business elsewhere, they would eventually have to give up sole proprietorship of their products, and when that happened, the other proxy distributors would have an even better chance of obtaining it after what happened this time!
He, on the other hand, blew his one chance of beating Cynthion Group because he offended Leon severely!
One can only imagine his remorse in this situation!
"Timothy, I've already warned you several times that you should be more grounded, but you refused to listen! We could have gotten the Cynthion Group's proprietorship by now if you had followed my advice earlier and treated President Wolf and Snow with respect!" Julianna said, her gaze fixed on her husband. Her expression, however, revealed a hint of regret.
Although she had never imagined getting their hands on Cynthion Group's sole proprietorship, she couldn't deny that doing so would propel Zeller Group forward by leaps and bounds!
Timothy, on the other hand, squandered a golden opportunity that was right in front of his nose!
Even though she was understanding, she couldn't help but be upset with him about this!
"I see my error now, Julianna, but it's too late. There's no point in discussing it any longer!" Timothy stated angrily.
"What do you mean there isn't any point? It's never too late to change your ways! We still have a chance to start over if you recognize your mistake and try your hardest to change!" Julianna comforted him.
"Is there a chance? Are you saying that we still have a chance to defeat Cynthion Group?" Timothy couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"Of course!" says one. "Snow is one of my closest friends, and I can always invite her out to dinner! I'm confident she'll forgive you if you show genuine remorse and apologize to her. When that happens, we might be able to reclaim Cynthion Group's sole proprietorship!" she replied solemnly. She was well aware that Snow was the only reason Leon agreed to meet them for dinner in the first place, and that Leon would be unlikely to do so again.
With her Snow connection, she could still ask Snow out, and knowing Snow, Snow would gladly oblige!
Their problems would be solved as long as Timothy demonstrated his sincerity and managed to persuade Snow to forgive him!
"Well, you're correct! I promise to sincerely apologize and make amends to her so that she will forgive me!" Timothy perked up with excitement as hope rekindled within him.
"All right, okay. Let's get going! I hope you remember this lesson and stop acting so arrogantly in the future," Julianna advised.
"Of course, I'll change my ways!" Timothy responded with a murmur as he followed Julianna out of the room.
