"Fire at will! Suppress those bastards!" a sergeant yelled to his squad. Staccato bursts from assault rifles echoed off the sandhills. Petra's infantry advanced in tight, disciplined formations, laying down suppressive fire. Bullets zipped through the desert air, kicking up fountains of blood around the mercenary lines.
