"You animal!" Tidus bellowed, "Mr. Lawrence and I have done right by you! How could you betray us?! Do you even have a conscience?! What would your mother say if she knew you betrayed me?!" Blackie's face twitched uncomfortably at the mention of his mother, but he soon smirked. "Sorry, but I'm doing this for my mother so that she can have a better life! Selfishness makes the world go round. I'm sorry, Tidus, but it's now time for you to die." With that, Blackie and his lackeys trained their pistols on Tidus. But just as they pulled the trigger, Lizzie pushed Tidus to the ground, blocking the bullets for him with her body. "Lizzie!" Tidus shed a tear as he looked on. "It's okay… My life is yours anyway, Tidus…" Lizzie murmured, collapsing into Tidus' arms as she bled. "Blackie… I'll kill you! Argh!!!" Something snapped in Tidus as he watched Lizzie dying right in front of him. Pushing away Lizzie's body, he leapt toward Blackie, which only prompted a savage laugh from Blackie.
