Hansel stood frozen in shock, his mouth wide open as he stared at Bart lying in the doorway. Miles was equally stunned. He knew Bart was not someone to mess with—his influence stretched far and wide—and yet Matthew had actually attacked him. The man carrying the bag stepped back nervously, clearly unsure of what to do as he tried to put some distance between himself and Matthew. Bart let out a series of violent coughs, propping himself up on one hand as he glared at Matthew. "H-How dare you mess with me! You're done for! I'll make sure you regret this! You're a dead man!" Matthew's expression was ice-cold as he stepped outside and approached Bart. "You won't let this go, huh? Perfect, because I won't either." Without hesitation, Matthew kicked Bart again, knocking him flat on his back. Then, he pressed his foot down onto Bart's neck, slowly increasing the pressure.
