Chapter 21
Noah's mood lifted. He quickly followed her upstairs.
This was the first time he had stepped inside Isabelle's villa. It wasn't large, but it was warm and inviting. The coziness gave him a strange sense of home.
He suddenly thought that maybe living here wouldn't be so bad after all.
Ricky had told him he couldn't live a simple, ordinary life. Noah was determined to prove him wrong.
As long as he could be with Isabelle, he would accept any kind of life.
His expression softened, and the gloom in his eyes gradually faded as he followed Isabelle into one of the rooms.
"Noah, I want my brother to come home," Isabelle said calmly as she pointed to the urn on the table.
Noah's face went pale.
She then pointed to a small box nearby. "I want my child to be born safely."
Noah's face turned even paler.
She took off her jacket, revealing the scars covering her back. "I want my back to be free of scars again."
