THIRD PERSON POV Isabelle squeezed the stone railing of the balcony, steeling herself as best she could. Today was more than likely going to be another loss, but… there would be other days. She knew well enough that, although a mating ceremony had been discussed, a date still had yet to be set. Maeve was not yet officially part of the family. She had time to spare.
