My eyes widened in shock, my gaze shifting between Lucas and Kendrick. The knot of dread tightened in my stomach. "What are you talking about?" I asked, thinking I could possibly deny his claim. He didn't have any proof that I was the White Wolf. Kendrick rolled his eyes. "Don't try to pretend as if it isn't true like Lucas did a few minutes ago. I know you're lying. You know perfectly well what I'm talking about." At the mention of Lucas's name, another thought came in my head. Had Lucas told Kendrick? No... he wouldn't do that, would he? It seemed that Kendrick knew where my thoughts had gone because he spoke before her thoughts unraveled any further. "Don't you worry. Before you start yelling at Lucas, no, he didn't tell me. I found out on my own," Kendrick stated calmly, his eyes fixed on me. "I saw you running through the woods." Panic surged through me, my mind racing with the implications of Kendrick witnessing my transformation. "What exactly did you see?"
