Even now, Sierra still remembered clearly how Matthew had gripped her chin five years ago while his eyes burned with hatred. "I thought you were different from the others, Sierra, but I was wrong. You have a filthy and ugly soul and heart." Sierra had been chased out of the Sterling family, and she also lost her job. She had developed a materialistic streak during her time with the Sterlings, so she couldn't accept living a simple and frugal life anymore.
