I was driving quietly while Leigh was just staring out the window of my car. It's almost 11 AM and it's getting closer to 12 noon. We are currently on our way to Quezon City and according to my calculations, we will arrive at exactly 1 PM.

I don't know if I should be the first to break the silence between the two of us but I eventually decided to speak.



"Are you hungry? I can pull over if you are," I responded flatly, my gaze fixed on the road; a few moments later, I felt her move a little from where she was sitting where I was sure that she was looking at me right now.



'Uhmm. J-just a little," she replied hesitantly.



"Okay" I calmly said, "I'll just pull over later when I see a restaurant."



She remained silent.

It didn't take long for us to pass a restaurant so like what I have stated, I stopped the car for us to eat inside. I was about to take off my seat

We arrived at my house at exactly 1:30 PM. It's a bit of traffic when we entered Manila that's why we arrived late rather than I expected. We were still in my car as I parked in the garage when I noticed her looking out the window. It's like… she's having a star gazing at the moment.

I stopped my car and I'm the first one to unbuckle my seat belt. I saw out of the corner of my eyes that she immediately followed by removing her seat belt and then I went out.



"Follow me," I stated flatly and then I just passed her and walked straight into my house. I felt that she followed behind me so I don't bother to look back until we finally entered.



When I'm about to speak, I can't help but feel stunned when I saw someone sitting in my living area and eating a snack. He also became aware of my presence so he automatically stopped eating the food he was holding and then his eye

I can't help but throw a gaze at Leigh and to that man outside of this house when they are getting closer and closer while they are talking to each other. I'm not sure what they're discussing right now, but it appears to be serious. I'm now sitting in a bamboo chair inside the house. I also couldn't look at the whole house because I don't want to take my eyes off Leigh and to that man. As I already stated, their talk appeared serious since I could see the man's expression while Leigh turned her back on me, obscuring her face so I couldn't see her expression.



"Here son, get some juice first." I was a little surprised when the old man suddenly appeared in front of me. It was only then that I lost sight of Leigh and then immediately turned my attention to the old man.
