Jess nodded her head and whispered something in Mason's ear which calmed him down. A white shadow stepped in beside me and I watched with wide eyes when Gordon came to my view. "Hi, I'm Gordon Archer," Gordon introduced himself with a small smile before extending his large hand out towards my mother. She looked flushed at standing in the presence of an Alpha but more over, her daughter's husband.  "Oh, so nice to meet you," she exclaimed in utter happiness before shaking his hand, and then she peaked at me and then back at Gordon with approval.  I could feel a smile forming on my face as well when warmth spread through my being at Gordon's nice gesture towards my family. When Gordon held out his hand to Mason, Mason's shoulders relaxed and he shook hands with my husband with a nod of his head.  "Alpha Gordon!"
