Chapter 1 Pregnancy

The moon climbed up the treetops, shining through the cracks and illuminating the room. It was on such a night that Salina saw the true form of Iden. His deep blue pupils suddenly contracted, and dark green marks quietly covered them, gleaming with a cold light in the pitch-black night. "Scared?" Iden smirked, his mouth curled up in a sneer. His fluffy gray tail drooped down, contrasting with his tall and muscular figure. Salina recoiled slightly, stubbornly lifting her head. "Not scared." Iden's eyes dimmed for a moment as he leaned down, his tail curling around Salina's slender waist. That night, Salina was like prey, consumed by Iden. The next morning, Salina's fair skin was covered with ambiguous marks, and there were bite marks on her neck. A few blushes flashed across her face involuntarily, remembering the wonderful night. Her hand unconsciously rested on her abdomen. Salina lightly tugged at the corner of her mouth and drove to the hospital. Sure enough, as she suspected, she was pregnant. She had been experiencing morning sickness for a few days, but she hadn't paid much attention to it. Salina looked at the report, lost in thought. The child of a werewolf and a human... it was hard to imagine. "Miss, are you okay?" The doctor's call brought Salina back to reality, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Sorry, could you please repeat that?" The doctor sighed, his gaze falling on the marks on Salina's neck. He asked with suspicion, "Miss, was your neck bitten by your cat at home?" The marks didn't look like they were made by a human. Hearing the doctor's description, Salina felt a sense of relief. She covered her mouth and smiled, "Yes, it was my cat at home." And it was a very big cat. The doctor shook his head and gave some instructions, "If the pet hasn't been vaccinated, the owner should be more careful." Salina thanked him briefly and left the hospital. A pet? Compared to Iden, she felt more like a pet. She picked up her phone, but before she could dial, Iden's call came in. The smile on Salina's lips deepened. "Hello, Iden. I have some news to tell you." She wondered how Iden would react to this news. Inside the bar, amid the colorful lights, men's shirt collars were casually pulled open, revealing exquisite collarbones. The whole body exuded an invisible pressure and irresistible charm. The phone was instantly answered, and the surrounding men and women all exchanged glances, suppressing their laughter. "Salina, I'm at the bar. Can you bring some food over?" "Okay, but..." Before Salina could speak, the man hung up directly. Hearing the beeping sound from the phone, she fell into thought. Wasn't it strange to ask her to bring food to the bar? But the way Iden quickly hung up made Salina's eyes misty. What she didn't know was that in the bar, the moment Iden hung up the phone, there was an outburst of laughter, and several men praised him. "Iden, you've raised this prey well. Not only obedient but also no temper." "Exactly, that's our Iden." In the crowd, a woman in a red halter dress naturally sat next to Iden, her eyes teasing. "Iden, by doing this, aren't you being a bit mean to her?" She said so, but her body leaned against Iden's arm, exuding a fatal attraction. The crowd immediately became restless, and several people joked. "Silvia, don't you understand Iden's intentions? That Salina means nothing to him." "I think you two look like a couple. Indeed, Iden's true love is Silvia." Silvia's red lips curled up, her arm lightly wrapped around Iden's neck. Her voice was extremely seductive, "How about it? Is what they said true?" The two looked at each other, and the atmosphere at that moment became ambiguous. Meanwhile, Salina, following Iden's address, stood at the entrance of the bar. Before she could go in, she was met by several women dressed provocatively. They exuded a strong smell of alcohol, and their steps were a bit unsteady. Salina took a few glances, automatically stepped back, and quickly sent a message to Iden. "Iden, I'm here. Can you come out to pick me up? They won't let me in." He replied quickly, "Then just leave. I'm not hungry anymore." A hint of disappointment flashed across Salina's face, but her emotions were interrupted by the two women. One of them deliberately pushed Salina, who didn't react in time and almost fell down. She quickly grabbed the railing next to her to barely steady herself. Protecting her abdomen, Salina took a few steps back, alertly asking, "What do you want?" The woman shrugged, looking disdainfully at Salina, "You're Salina, right? Iden's new pet." Salina didn't speak, which was tacit consent. She found it strange that she had never seen these two people before. Why would they know about her relationship with Iden? The woman sneered, her eyes filled with mockery. "Look at you. Do you really expect Iden to come and save you? Forget it, he's with Silvia now! You mean nothing to him." The person next to her hurriedly agreed, "Yeah, food should know its place. Who would develop feelings for something to eat?" Silvia's name echoed in Salina's mind, and things she didn't want to remember came flooding back. The eyes of the two suddenly turned green, and Salina exclaimed in surprise, quickly fleeing the scene. Although she didn't understand werewolves, she knew enough about Iden. If he got angry, he wouldn't show mercy. She almost ran home, and on the way, she was scratched by some wires, and blood gradually flowed out. Not only her body but also her heart felt uncomfortable. When Iden came back, the servants in the house were treating Salina's wounds with alcohol. The moment alcohol touched her wounds, Salina cried out in pain. Seeing the wounds on Salina's body, the pressure around Iden instantly lowered, and he said with a hint of anger in his voice, "Who did this?" Salina glanced at him, her emotions surging, but she didn't speak. In the end, it was the servant who explained, "Miss Salina accidentally scratched herself." Iden stood there, staring at her for a long time, and suddenly said, "Really stupid." His tone was cold and icy, his eyes indifferent as if he were looking at a stranger. Salina's heart was pierced by pain in an instant, her mouth open but not knowing what to say. Iden dismissed the servant and grabbed Salina's arm, extending his tongue to lick her wounds. The bleeding stopped instantly. His eyes also gradually turned green, and he turned around and left, saying, "Take care of your wounds and come up later."
