River’s expression hardened, his earlier softness evaporating. “Do not use that tone with me, young lady. This is for your own good.”
“My own good?” Tiffany scoffed, her hands trembling with rage. “You kidnapped my boyfriend! How is that for my own good?”

With shaking hands, she pulled out her phone and dialed a familiar number. “Uncle Antonio?” she said, her voice wavering. “I need your help.”
