Chapter 13 Get Lost

Lucia leaned over the horse's back, her hands tightly gripping the reins. She didn't dare look back. She didn't know how long they had been running, but the horse began to pant and slowed down. Lucia reined in the horse and stopped beside a secluded farmhouse. She got off the horse, but her legs were giving way, and she almost dropped to the ground.
