"Well," I say, tipping my head to the side. I glance back at the entire group, which is now filling the group and lining up against either wall beside me. The guard closes the door once everyone is in, but it doesn't worry me. It isn't like he can get past all of us if he can even manage to break out of those chains. "I think we can compromise."
He stares straight into my eyes. His head is no longer bowed. His voice is strong as he speaks to me. He is not intimidated. "Are you going to let me go?" He asks, an amusing tone lacing his voice as he leans his head back. He takes my silence as an answer. A low laugh escapes his chest. He smirks. "Then I guess we have nothing to compromise."
