The next morning, Raphael is called early to work. I spend my morning moving everything of mine from my old room—mostly just clothes—but I did ask for a vanity, which Raphael immediately told Urien to get for me. “Right here,” I tell the men carrying the furniture. They set it down exactly where I want it. “Perfect.” “Do you need help with anything else?” they ask. “No, thank you. I can manage.” The two men bow. “Very well, princess.” My eyes widen.
