Jonah cut in abruptly, "You're part of the Quinn family. You don't owe her anything whatsoever. Don't say that again."
Lily glanced at Scarlett with concern, her expression genuinely moving.
Scarlett was filled with disgust. She gathered her textbooks, shot a cold look at her old classmates, and said, "There's no need to force me out. I've been wanting to leave this classroom for a while."
The homeroom teacher seemed delighted as if a long-held dream had been fulfilled. He promptly informed the teacher of the class for underachievers that he intended to transfer Scarlett to their class.
