Chapter 10: We are not a charity
June stood in front of her hospital door room, contemplating the excuse to give the men who were stationed in her room.
It's been two days since she woke up and she felt a lot better than the former days. Enough so that she wanted to leave the hospital and get on with her life.
However, the doctors didn't agree with her and felt the need to keep her until the three-day mark. Which prompted her decision to leave without their knowledge.
The only thing standing between her and that decision to walk out of the hospital was the human barriers standing in front of her door.
One would think she was an important personality with the details that never left her door, attending to her like she was some sort of money god.
Although the treatment made her feel important, she had other things to get back to. She needed to get started on her life and pay her mother a visit.
