Chapter 14

CHAPTER 14 LUCAS POV I felt both angry and embarrassed as I walked away from Sophia. She was absolutely wrong for what she had just done. I could die. I felt my strength leaving me bit by bit as I walked to my room. The stomach aches came in waves and they were so fast that I'd double over. I shut the door and leaned on it. The pain was so extreme, they were like contractors or spasms. The pain completely immobilized me. I'd lose control of my muscles, and they'd start shaking. I could neither think, let alone move. I leaned on the door till it passed then slowly walked to the bed. Sophia had done this to me. I lay in my bed staring at the ceiling. There was a dull ache in my chest. It hurt that she'd forget something so important. Does she really not care about me anymore? Is three years enough time to forget what we shared? I sighed heavily. Not that it matters anyways.
