MILA We made our way back to the castle on dragonback. We were stunned to see how much of the landscape had changed already, even a few hours after magic had been restored. The kingdom I once knew had been totally transformed. “I barely even recognize it,” Felix said in amazement as flew over the farmlands surrounding the capital city. “It’s all so… alive.” He was right. If I had thought the fields and flowers were green and lush before, now, they were on a whole other level. The trees were taller and fuller, the grass was brighter, and the crops all looked strong and healthy. The kingdom had been completely transformed. It took us longer than we thought to make it back to the castle, as civilians kept spotting us and flagging us down to thank us for our work.
