Two months later, Yasmin was pregnant. When she found out about her pregnancy, she finally felt at ease. She eagerly went to Zachary with the pregnancy test results to tell him the good news. "Zachary, you'll be a dad soon!" Impassively, Zachary took the test kit from her and gently brushed his fingers against it. "You don't seem happy?" Yasmin spoke as she looped her arms around his neck. "Melanie's long gone. Are you perhaps thinking about her again?" Zachary's grip around her waist tightened slightly. "Don't overthink it. It doesn't do the baby any good." After coaxing Yasmin, he told her that he had scheduled a prenatal checkup for the day after tomorrow. He would take her to the hospital himself when the time came.
