Elizabeth was completely baffled.
I mean, who wouldn't be mad if a total stranger started yelling at them out of nowhere?
But since they were out in public, with people around, she had to hold back a little. She clenched her fists, visibly annoyed. "And who do you think you are, screaming like a maniac out here?"
That should've shut the other woman up—but nope. Instead, she looked even more smug.
"Stop pretending you don't know," the woman sneered. "I'm Tiffany Collins, Isabella's cousin—ring any bells? You ruined her engagement party, and now you're asking who I am? Unbelievable."
Then, as if her words weren't enough, she ran her eyes up and down Elizabeth's simple tracksuit, her face full of disdain.
"Seriously, someone like you dares show up in front of me? You better get lost."
She tilted her chin, full of that rich-girl arrogance, like Elizabeth didn't even deserve to breathe the same air.
There weren't many guests around that afternoon, and most of them bailed as soon as the yell
