Ever since she got back from Dunwick, Samantha had been itching for a way to bring Sophia down. Now that Sophia had completely lost face in the upper circles, Samantha finally felt like she'd gotten her payback.
Head held high, she strutted into the mall and started loading up from the very first store. Whatever caught her eye, she didn't even bother trying it—just pointed, ordered them to bag it, and tossed them at the man following behind her: Alexander.
"Miss, this new collection from AM features our latest handbags—clutches, crossbodies, and totes in the hottest shades this season. Which one would you like?" The shop assistant, who usually kept a poker face, noticed Samantha's not-so-great mood and decided it was smarter to act sweet and welcoming.
"No need for the sales pitch. Just follow instructions!" Samantha waved her hand dismissively. "Skip the purple ones. The rest—bag 'em all."
The assistant blinked. Well, that was... different.
