Julia glanced down at herself and instantly felt a wave of gloom wash over her. She looked plain, her figure was just average, her clothes were inexpensive, and that canvas bag she carried didn't help. She felt like a total wallflower—nothing about her stood out, let alone attracted attention. "Come on, Julia, what are you even thinking?" she scolded herself inwardly. "There's no way Vincent would be into someone like me. If he likes anyone, it's probably Caitlin!" As Vincent started the car, he turned to ask, "So, Julia, figured out what you feel like eating?" Julia nervously glanced over and asked in a small voice, "Vincent, um... is there something you wanted to talk to me about?"
