Chapter 59
He bled a lot tonight—his wound had burst open three times, and the fever didn't help either. His face was pale as a sheet, and overall, he looked like he'd been hit by a truck.
"I only play nice with decent people! For jerks like you, this is already me being polite!" Samantha wiped her lips, scowling at Alexander.
She could rant all she wanted, but she still had to patch him up.
Spinning on her heel, she grabbed the first aid kit again, pulled out the disinfectant, and—without hesitation—poured half the bottle right onto his wound.
The moment the liquid hit, Alexander's eyes darkened with pain. Sweat beaded instantly on his forehead, and his sharp features twisted in agony.
"That's your lesson, Alexander. This is the last time I'm fixing you up. Now stay put and don't move. If it splits open again, I'm not cleaning up the mess."
Her tone was fierce, almost like she was throwing punches with her words.
She grabbed his arm and roughly wrapped the bandage around it. Not exactly gentle.
