"I don't know." Jaquan threw his pen, which rolled off the desk and fell to the floor, landing right by Callie's feet.
Her anger reached its peak. Dale was already inside, Shamar was nowhere to be found, and few people could track his whereabouts.
Jaquan was highly suspicious.
"Let me ask another question." Callie sat down directly across from him. "Did Shamar ever mention his plans to you? I know he came to see you. There's no need to hide it."
She was smart. Jaquan smiled faintly. "He only said he wanted to join me, but he didn't mention any specific plans."
