It was late autumn in Pyralis, and the Solivane Art Museum was hosting an international art exhibition.
Cheyenne stood in front of her exhibition booth, her fingers curling nervously.
Her piece, Rebirth, was the result of three months of sleepless nights and had unexpectedly drawn the attention of several renowned art critics.
"Don't be nervous." Evan's steady voice came from beside her. He was holding two glasses of champagne, his gaze calm and reassuring.
"There's a spark in your work. People who understand art will see that."
He gently brushed back a loose strand of her hair and handed her a glass. "Come on. Let me introduce you to a few curators. They've been looking for fresh new artists to collaborate with."
She followed him through the crowd. He made every effort to recommend her work to everyone they met. "Ms. Brooks' interpretation is unique. She has a powerful sense of emotion and perception in her art."
