Although there was some distance between them, Zara could clearly hear these words. Her face turned pale instantly. She never expected that a casual joke would cause such a huge dispute and even reach the ears of Frederic and Mora. If it was really as they said, then there was no future for her and Xavion in this lifetime! But Camryn had already broken up with Xavion. It also seemed like Xavion and Zara were about to reconcile. Why had something like this gone wrong? Zara wasn't going to accept how things turned out. After being dragged to the door and thrown out, she suppressed the panic rising within her and sent Xavion more than ten messages, hoping to explain herself. Time passed slowly, and soon it was dark. Still, Xavion hadn't replied to a single message. Looking at the blank chat screen, Zara grew increasingly uneasy. She quickly hailed a cab to meet her girlfriends and discuss a strategy. She even reached out to Xavion's friends along the way to gather information. Be
