"Yeah, I gotcha. Sorry to hear that," he murmured, fiddling with his notebook as to not meet my eyes. "So, there's been a rumor going around and I figured you could confirm or deny it for me," he suddenly blurted. I furrowed my brows in confusion but still nodded for him to continue.
