After weeks of preparation, the wedding had finally ended without a hitch. With the weight lifted from her shoulders, Harriet closed her eyes and relaxed on the ride home. Suddenly, a commotion outside startled her awake. She turned to look out the window with a frown and noticed the butler hurrying over. "Mrs. Lambert Senior, a group of people claiming to be Mrs. Lambert's family has arrived. They're causing a scene and demanding to see you," Ethan explained. Upon hearing that it was the Carters, Harriet couldn't help recalling what Alexander had told her. In an instant, the joy on her face disappeared, replaced by gloom. In the back seat, Timothy and Olivia didn't look pleased either. They soon got out of the car with Harriet. From a distance, Robert and Camila spotted Harriet, whom they hadn't seen in years. Their aggressive demeanor deflated almost immediately. As soon as Harriet approached them, they dared not act out. Instead, they softly greeted her, "Hello, Mrs. Lambert
