Eleanor had moved again. Her new apartment was just as small as her last one.
This time, she had used a friend's name to sign the lease. And with a little help from her family, she had managed to erase every trace of herself.
For now, there was no way Dominic could find her.
The place wasn't much, but it was bright and full of sunlight.
Eleanor stood by the window, watching the bustle of the street below. For the first time in what felt like forever, she could finally breathe.
This time, she had cut off all contact. She left behind every piece of jewelry and designer clothing. All she carried with her was her ID and a debit card with her savings.
