Chapter 261
Calvin and Olivia sat on the couch, drinking and chatting about the past. Well, Olivia did most of the talking.
"Cal, do you remember that game we used to play when we were little…"
She talked a lot, but Calvin didn't hear a word of it. His mind was stuck on memories of Jasmine by his side.
Back when they had just gotten married, she used to make an effort to find topics to talk about when they were alone together.

As they kept drinking, they both became slightly tipsy. Olivia took the opportunity to suggest they go to the bedroom.
Calvin still had a sliver of clarity in his mind. He couldn't bring Olivia into the master bedroom. The last time he had done so, Jasmine had seen it and been furious. He didn't want to upset her again.
He shook his head and said, "Not the bedroom."
