My blood boils as I clutch the paper tightly in my hand, my eyes becoming blurry with un shed tears. Seriously, Ronnie? Suck it up. Now is not the time to cry.
I hate it when my anger turns to tears.
I do my best to blink away the frustrated tears as I crumple the paper into a ball, tossing it into the side while chatting mentally in my head not to be weak. I was to not show emotion.
"You seem to know a awful lot about the werewolf word for being a human," I say dryly, my voice flat and monotone as I look up again, coming face to face with the accusing blonde behind the gun.
"How do you know I'm human?" She retorts. "Maybe I'm not."
"Perhaps you're not fully human, but you're at least a portion. You got wolf scent on you, for sure. I figured that perhaps you just liked to fool around." I shrug.
