Chapter 25
But how I wear my braid, is the least of my problems right now.
"I like my braid," I say, "And I think I would have noticed if boys looked at me."
That's a lie. A terrible one. Anna is right, I'm incredibly gullible when it comes to boys. I had no experience with them, so how was I supposed to know if guy liked me or not?
"No you wouldn't have," Anna scuffs. "Like I said before, you're naive." She sighs and nestles back down into the couch. She yawns and gives me a lazy smile, "But that's okay. I still love you, Ron."
I give her a meek smile, "I love you too, Anna." I get comfortable back again and Anna presses play. For the rest of the evening, we stay quiet and watch as Michael Myers slaughters some teenagers. Yeah, that's definitely going to help me sleep tonight.
Sunday is just as calm as yesterday was. I stay over and have breakfast with Anna's dad and mom, than spend the rest of the day with Anna, bathing in the sun
