The staff members of the tech department had met Autumn the day before. They all assumed that she had a few screws loose when she bragged about how she would be able to repair and rebuild the firewall within a week. However, Allen had personally brought her over, making them wonder if she was really as skilled as she claimed she was. "Mr. Gray, is she the professional that you hired?" Allen glanced at Autumn from the corner of his eye. "You said you could do it, right? Show us what you're capable of." Autumn barked out a laugh, causing Allen to say, "What are you laughing about? You're the one who claimed—" Autumn pinched him hard, exclaiming, "Can you be more polite when you speak?" Allen was suddenly thrown back in time to when Autumn used to bully him, stunning him in place. When he snapped back to his senses, he roared, "No!" The pinch stung badly.
