As soon as Olivia sent the email, she walked over to Autumn and took a sip of the coffee Autumn had brought her.
With a smile, Olivia said, "I do want your help, but I know you're dying to finish your thesis. I won't bother you for now.
"Once you're done, though, I'll definitely need your help. This job alone is worth ten million dollars. It'd be a shame if you passed it up."
Autumn paused at that. Olivia had remembered everything she wanted to do. Clearly, Olivia respected her and took her seriously.
Damien had never treated her that way. At the beginning, Autumn filed for divorce because she had no other choice. But now, she was more certain than ever that it had been the right decision.
"I'm almost done," Autumn said with a grin.
Olivia didn't catch on right away. Two seconds later, realization hit—Autumn was talking about her thesis. Olivia gave a sheepish smile. "I can't compare to you."
Autumn looked puzzled, so Olivia added, "You're just far too brilliant."
