Rico walked over to the display shelf, having noticed Autumn glancing at it earlier. He pointed at Polaris and teased, "You gave that to him, didn't you?"
If Autumn admitted it, Rico would no doubt start imagining all sorts of dramatic scenarios. She simply replied, "No."
"Are you sure?"
Autumn could barely tolerate Rico, but she still managed a polite smile. "Mr. Salazar, your imagination is truly impressive. But no, I really didn't give that to Mr. Faulkner."
