Chapter 54 Uninvited Guests Arrive

One of Veronica's arms and one of her legs were draped over Gregory's body. Worse still, that hand had slipped inside his robe and was resting squarely on his chest. The culprit herself was sleeping soundly, completely unaware. Gregory let out a cold laugh and reached up to pinch Veronica's nose. It didn't take long before she struggled slightly, unable to breathe. After a few half-hearted movements, she woke up. The moment she realized Gregory was pinching her nose, Veronica's anger flared. She glared at him furiously. "Gregory, what are you doing in the middle of the night? Have you lost your mind?" Gregory looked at her coolly. "Ms. Walsh, why don't you take a good look at what your hands and feet are doing right now?" Only then did Veronica register just how close they were. Her limbs were curled around Gregory's body. Veronica froze. She scrambled to pull back her wayward arm and leg. Her expression was mortified and unbearably awkward. Oh God. What had she done? Greg
